I mean, i get capitalism, but for a company who purposes to want to bring the world together and be inclusive entity to purposefully neglect a large portion of their playerbase speaks exactly as to what kind of company Facebook was and META is.
Sorry I'm late to this but are you saying if I link my accounts with that new function, I can go to the Meta version, make an avatar and itll be on the steam version?
I linked my account and my avatar did not transfer over, I was limited to the default avatars supplied by pokerstars.
Its absolutely not a decision by Facebook lol. They (the developers) would need to create avatars for each platform. The Playstation version didn't have avatars either, and they put in weird V shaped bodied characters that lack actual arms. It looks so weird. The developers are simply hooking into the Meta platforms character models and using them in the game. If they wanted custom models here the developers would have to actually create them, and what they made for the Playstation version are freaky and incomplete as hell.
That is intended. Pokerstars can't utilize Facebook avatar assets on a PC game. They could do what they did with PS5, but those avatars are weird, freaky even less half versions of the Meta avatars.
