I think you just need to get better at poker. Having a high pocket pair isn't a guarantee of a win in poker. Look at the frequency section for 7-card poker hands. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_probability The chances of getting a two pair is 23.5% so basically one in every 4 hands will beat a high pocket pair with a two pair.
Couldn't recommend this game more if you want to learn how to not play poker.
• Hitting another kind of your pocket pair (making a set): 7.5 to 1 (11.8%)
• You will pair at least one of your unpaired hole cards: 2.1 to 1 (32.4%)
• Hitting two or more of your suit when you hold suited cards: 7.5 to 1 (11.8%)
• Hitting a flush on the flop with suited hole cards: 118 to 1 (0.8%)
• You will hit two pair on the flop with unpaired hole cards: 49 to 1 (2%)
now picture 8 people all staying in. someone is bound to hit. cant just scare them off with a bet when its not real money.
Bound to happen and ALWAYS happening are two different things.
Sitting on a table for 3 hours having to fold over and over then a guy sits down a I finally pull a Flush and it gets beat by a Full House by the guy who JUST SAT DOWN!
There is ZERO online poker game (VR or non VR) with random cards as much as I know. Every game I tested where you can invest money is cheating with card distribution. Generally with the hole cards (the cards in the middle). They'll change depending on the choices you make. They just think they make more money that way (which is probably true).
