Does she kill him? Live the rest of her life pretending she's Viola? What does she do?

I think that's it sadly. Would make for a great sequal or something similar

Ellen's a selfish sort- brought on by the neglect her parents inflicted on her because her sickness burdened them and they likely felt she ruined their lives. This made her pretty twisted, making her see 'love' and 'loyalty' something she has to trick, steal, or force.
She didn't even really let her parents stay dead- just locking them in those cells to try and force them to be a shadow of the parents they were supposed to be.
Likely, Ellen will spend her time soaking up and enjoying the love Viola's father willingly gives to his 'daughter' and will fail to do anything to earn it in the new relationships she undergoes.
SHE doesn't have to give anything of herself, but it's EXPECTED that she be able to get those things now- because she's not a sick girl anymore. She's pretty and healthy and has freedom.
And if it should be denied, just like before, likely she'll just fall back to old habits.

i think its implied that she more or less takes violas place in life, now living as a healthy girl with a loving family instead of a sickly girl with parents that ignore her :franbow:

it's implied in the Manga she'd end up killing him.

I realise I'm late to the party, but this topic is still high up on the first page, and the title itself spoils the true ending.

That's... why it says "(SPOILERS FOR ENDING)" at the very start of the title

Anybody with a halfway decent reading speed or just bad luck can spot part or all of that title before they realise what they're reading. More to the point, there is never a reason to put spoilers out in the open where people can see them by accident when you can put them in the topic body instead.

Wow, your peripheral vision must be SUPER high-quality

I have above average reading speed; nothing exceptional. Try it yourself: people never actually read one word by one word (at least in their native language), just like they don't read a word one letter by one letter.

But again, not the point. There is no reason full stop to risk other people seeing spoilers when all it takes is for you to put them in the box *under* the one you're typing in.

I did try it myself, read from left to right

Are you saying people still read the title in full despite a spoiler warning?

When you put spoilers on the main page, there is a risk that people will read them. It's as simple as that. If you care about whether other people get spoiled or not, then there is no need to gamble by making assumptions about what they will and won't see. All you have to do is not put spoilers in your title.

All you have to do is stop reading at the spoiler warning... which is at the very beginning
