Anyway, late season greeting creator of The Witch's House.
I am but only one of many users who takes great delight in your works of former times.
Along with such products as Ib, Mad Father, The Crooked Man, Mogeko Castle, OFF, Angels of Death and other assortments of RPG build games, this one sticks out to me as an unforgettable gem.
So if I'm not behind the time to begin questioning your design and opinions, I'll remove my funky language and throw out my inquiry:
-0: What's your favorite Let's Play/Playthrough of the Witch's House?
-1: Have you played/seen any other RPG Makers games? If so, what are your favorites?
-2: What advice do you have upcoming and fresh game developers?
-3: Have you ever imagined your characters in a universe of an already existing game, TV show, book series, web series, etc, outside of the one you created? (Like as a headcanon) If so, then what?
-4: If you could ever crossover your characters or series over with another one, which one/s would it be?
And now for the absurd ones:
-5: Does the black cat hate dogs?
-6: Do Viola or Ellen ever have to do home improvement on the house?
-7: If Viola didn't kill the frog, what would have happened to it?
-8: What does the black cat do when they're not taking souls, making witches or just being a little snark?
-9: Has Ellen ever thought about filing for disability? (Considering her lack of necessary body parts)
-10: Does the guy behind the bars like peanut butter with his powder?
-11: Has Ellen ever tried to put up an eviction notice on the house?
-12: Is the black cat an agnostic?
-13: What would Viola do if she never went to the house?
-14: Does the pumpkin prefer salt or plastic with juice?
-15: Will Viola/Ellen ever be in Smash Bros?
-16: Will everyone just get a long in the end?
I don't expect the last ten to be answered, but alas.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you very very much for creating the Witch's House!
Your remake shows great promise of pasting by the quality on silver tier standards. Looking forward to future works and the incoming joy you've added onward.
Also thank you very much @dna.noodle for being the voice of the game to all us English speakers!
May your days remained unnumbered.
About the location of the event: it's in England, France, Japan, a non-real place?
Thank you for reading this, and sorry for my english.
Have a nice day! =D
To be fair, when I first played the "extra" mode, I actually thought it was a sequel. When the cat asked me if I know who was behind everything and there was the answer "yes". I know it is some sort of breaking the 4th wall but I can't help but thinking it is a sequel that Ellen (in Viola body) comes back to her house after a while for some reasons and is trapped yet again. She finds that the house still has the magic and it is more dealy than the previous time she was trapped by Viola. She fully knows that the only way to get out is to comeback to her originally room. During the "trip", the cat asked that question to make sure that Ellen knows what she is against and situation is not that simple as she thought and every answer will be given when she comeback to her own room "again".
Well, I actually found it was a little bit let down when I found out that it was the same story. It would be brilliant if you guy could have made the "extra" as the sequel to the story though. It would make the game worth much more than the price it is just for the remake and the sequel in 1 package.
However, I may be just asking too much for that. So the question is still the same. Do you all sitll consider making more of this fanstatic story? I can fully understand if you guys say you don't want to do that because you guys afraid it would not be as good as the original though.
1- Any hope for a sequel? being honest this for the feelings of sadness and unfairness (Its a horror history, i know, what i gonna expect) that this game still give me to today.
2- You plan to do more games, dedicate to the gaming industry or this game is gonna be just one-try wonder that you make because you feel inspired?
3- What its the horror RPG maker game that you like more or inspire you to do this game?
4- You like the western horror stories or you think they are not as good as the oriental ones?
5-You like more happy endings or sad ones? (judging by the game, i bet the later)
Well, that's all i can think now. Thanks for doing this game (and everyone who help published) with a amazing plot twist! You are a lucky person for have people that you can trust! (not like Viola)
LOL Viola/Ellen in Smash Bros hahahahaha
Bet that these two girls will never get along now, nope forever enemies, you could make a sitcom of it.
time. I to loose to delete my comment but i like it to stay there anyway to show my opinions.
Well, thanks again to take care to respond!
I used RPGMV to port my game to Linux, but I don't know how to submit it to the developer.
