Online was really laggy, but please take my experience with some salt, as my WiFi is preeeetty bad, so I dunno if it was just lousy net code or lousy internet.
example if you host game in vermitide 1 .game will be laggfest for all and it will crash sooner or later
any wifi user i encounter in games like streetfighter, dark souls, chivalry. is desinced bastard
2P co-op is great though. If you set delay to zero and have a good ping with somebody, it's hard to distinguish between offline play.
I just played a 4 player game for about 20 minutes last night and it worked great for me.
I really think that if you have 4 people, they all need to have an ok internet connection. All it takes it 1 bad connection to muddy up the game (which is a reason why they have the "My Region Only" filter").
No net code in the world can fix a crappy internet connection...
You can get around the input lag/extra slow down by cycling the resolution.
