Duuuuh?!
Edit : wait, you're blaming the devs because they didn't put an option to screw up strech your image?
i have tons of these as roms, but im getting this mostly for nostalgia and the multiplayer aspect.
add me if u wanna play. but, it seems like the launch for this was not well received and popular for new age gamers.
if thats true while its sad im not suprised
showing lazyness of not making the game even look fullscreen would put a lot of people off buying simply for how something looks.
But the fact you could get all these games via quick google search is another thing.
Like i said if its true its rather sad but at the same time it really wouldnt suprise me. I mean would u pay for a copy a Harry Potter on blu-ray if its shown on tv for free all the time?
I mean there are still multitude of problems but that doesn't mean they won't fix it.
you mean like how DENUVO instantly makes any purchase a RENTAL?
u know how your meant to legally own it yet coz of denuvo its turned into something which isnt really yours anymore and people wonder why they pirate/crack stuff?
People can defend this bundle all they like but to me the fact the games are not even at full screen or even giving you the option to at least stretch the image shows how lazy of a port this is.
I definitely get why you are frustrated with how the bundle doesnt offer options that fit youe criteria. And you are entitled to that opinion, nobody saying anything about that.
But im not ok with the fact that you would advocate piracy over it.
Vote with youe wallet, if youre not happy, dont buy it. But if you pirate over things that can be patched up easily in later update (aspect ratio fix), then it means later down the road, capcom would not release a single thing for pc anymore.
it would require serious games code rewrite to do native wide screen suport.
Not to mention that these belt-scrollers were literally designed with 4:3 in mind, so going native widescreen would throw off the level and encounter design by changing the size of the playing field to one that the original devs did not intend.
Adjusted for inflation, the copy of Final Fight for the SNES I bought in 1991 cost 4.5x what I paid for this bundle. As much as I would have appreciated some nice filters, I just can't help but be amazed at how much better we have it these days.
