Why buy this exactly?
Ok maybe im missing something here but 16.99............for this? WOW i know crapcom are scumbags an all but this is an utter joke isnt it??

The games are not even in full screen. Why would u want to BUY this exactly? you can just do a quick google search and get the games without having to pay 16.99 and at least get them to play in fullscreen with AA raised and various other improvments.

You dont even get a selection of the best games for this price but instead a small handfull of good, half decent and then poor games.

I know crapcom are desperate for dosh but doing this just seems super low. The fact ZERO attemp has been made to make the games fullscreen should tell you everything. Dungeons and Dragons isnt exactly a great experience on the pc while the Emulated version runs flawlessly

I just dont see what the appeal is here

I get the feeling though.. I've played countless of hours of these games on emulators back more than a decade ago.... Not only that, but Punisher, Cadillac and Dinosaurs. Aliens vs Predator, both Dungeons & Dragons.. The best of Capcom beat em up were licensed so they are not here, which hurt the package... I can see the value of getting this bundle on consoles.. especially Nintendo Switch which I might eventually when I own one.. but on PC it's not very appealing at all when I've already playe them so much.. yes, yes.. not legally.. but emulators.. especially for arcades were easy to excuse.

"Screw you, peasant, I have mahney!" Is a very poor argument.

Complaining were getting arcade classic games -.- then complaining about the price? Really? What's it £2.40 ish each? How ungrateful -.- myself I'm glad to see more arcade ports in multi packs!

You really do lose any point you may have had by calling them "crapcom". Present your argument in a rational and mature manner or stay quiet if you can't manage that.

So in short: "Why buy if you can pirate! Yo ho ho ho!"

Well, there's the thing - people tend to like different things.
Some people will buy this to express gratitude for fun they had playing this long ago.
Some people will still play on MAME or whatever, but justify themselves by buying a legal copy of the game.
Some people will buy to show that interest in those games still exist, and maybe they will receive a whole new game soon enough, just like it happened to Megaman (it is also a Capcom game) which just received 11th game of the main series this October!

So yeah, while you can still play on MAME, download it off the web for free, like any other game, if you enjoy(ed) playing - consider buying, that will show developers that people want more, and who knows what will happen next.

Dont worry, this will sell like crap anyway. Overpriced inferior emulations never do well.

7 arcade classics, including 2 unreleased on home consoles, with some bells and whistles and added online for 20 bucks seems like a decent deal... Don't know what the issue is... Emulation is not an argument against the price imho.

Buy my oldschool ZX Spectrum for 20 bucks, bro:claugh:
Your comment is not an argument against my offer imho.
Working ZX Spectrums are actually worth more than that, bro...

Steam is not the only gaming platform in the world.

I have 373 games on Steam, I have about 15-20 on GoG, I have a handful on EA and Ubisofts online stores. That's just for PC gaming, I also own a bunch of console games in both physical and digital formats.

Regardless, the argument that brought about his 3000 games comment was a terrible one anyway. It ignores the above, isn't relevant to begin with, and by the same logic you could claim them having 1000 + games on Steam means they're a no-lifer using their fathers credit cards. It's an asinine stance and adds nothing to the conversation, I'd have expected a German furry to be less likely to throw stones from his glass house. Gaming isn't my only hobby, thus it isn't the only thing I spend my money on, it's a similar case for many people. Not owning a ridiculous amount of games (most of which will never be played) does not mean a person has a low income or no job.

I used to have a mint condition Spectrum ZX 128K +2, it was in the original box and everything. My mother came across it in her attic a few years back and threw it out because it was "old junk" without contacting me about it first. I could have cried at the time tbh. She didn't seem to understand that I'd have happily taken the trip to see her and pick it up if she'd just called. lol

I just bought it for $15.99 at Greenman and I think it's well worth it. It's great to boot it up and start playing immediately, games run really smooth and everything works perfectly with no hassle. Sure I could emulate them but $15 is nothing and 7 great beat 'em up games for that price is sweet. I think it's a great bundle for those of us who are old enough to remember playing these back in the day and also for people who are new to the beat 'em up genre. I hope Capcom puts out some more great bundles in the future!

My badge says that - great
as i said before i have pretty much most games for every console aside from ps3-4 xbox1 and360

Im a gamer, not a PC only gamer

Also i dont see how anyone can defend this when none of the games are even in full screen. If crapcom are that lazy to not even do that then why bother? D and D isnt exactly a great port by them either

+ Legal. ( supported by Steam - no more 3rd party emulator and roms for these games)
+ Can be played either ONLINE with others players or OFFLINE as single player or co-op.
+ REAL Classic OldSchool Game Quality
+ Price wasn't calculated as per each game hence players may value them diversely, but still Good Bundle for the total price!
+ - I personally forcast that they may soon release their best beat 'em ups which are The Punisher and Cadillac Dinosaurus with a reasonable price exclusively, and add the new games into bundle. ( DLC )
+ Art Work.
??? Providing with great potential for creating and developing a beat-em-up , oldschool gaming and arcade game fans community on PC.
- Control buttons are not optimized, but games are fundementally playable.
+ In my experience, via options one may customize the graphics and play games between 800x600 and 1080x1920 either on window or fullscreen mode.

Result : The price might loook expensive for those who did not need to travel to another city and wait for long hours at the shopping center in order to purchase the game casette in 90s. Steam certainly makes it easier and great appreciation for CAPCOM's business step on this.

:megusta: What is not fair here, is CODY looks younger than me now whereas I used to look younger than him almost 3 decades before.

Mame is tedious to get set up kinda and network play requires an external program ♥♥♥♥ the "legalness" of it all it's a pain in the asss to even get working.
