Bioshock 2: Pauper's Drop/Clearing The Rubble problem...HALP!

I've been stuck now trying to clear that freaking blocked wall for a week. Using Drill Dash and even basic Drill and it will NOT clear. I'm now grinding refuel/drill/no result/refuel/drill/etc endlessly, haha.

I can't progress because of it and am wondering if it's a bug. Any one here had this problem or have any recommendations? This is ridic!

Grinding refuel? There is a fuel station directly in the hallway before the rubble, it will refill all your fuel.

mmhh. are you sure you do the drill dash correctly? Spinning the drill (holding attack), then press shift?

Haha, i was kidding about "grinding refuel". Yep, refueling every minute after doing Drill Dash correctly, running out of fuel, then trying basic Drill Butt too. Just tried breaking through again and nothing works.

That's really odd. I remember I had a hard time getting it at first but, after messing about with the button combos a few times it just dashed right through and the dialogue started. tbh all I think I really did was start the drill close to the wall and just tap b on the controller. I don't think you really need to hold it.

Yeah it's really strange, and there's a Youtube of someone getting through with just one quick pass with the drill. Guess I'll just keep slogging away at it-thanks guys :-)

They only needed one pass on the Youtube I saw too, but it's not working for me. I know how to perform Drill Dash, but what is Brute? Thanx!

Do you mean the Brute Splicers? That's the only brute I'm familiar with.

Only took me one pass, something definitely seems off with your game.

Perhaps try verifying the game cache? Otherwise, your save file might just be... stuffed
