Radio/Audio diaries not working?

So apparently my game is stuck with a bug that makes it so I can't hear the audio diaries and radio. I can hear all the other audio normally and its this specific bug that will ruin it for me since I love listening to the story.

I heard a fix for this was to restart the game on a previous save before the bug happens but I only have one save. The other option I heard was to play the game until the game fixes itself out and all the audio diaries/radio that you've missed will play all at once in random parts of the game. I was wondering if there was a way to speed this process up.

Ok, I solved this problem finally!! If you get the sound bug, just go into your documents/user/appdata/roaming folder and delete the bioshock 2 folder. This worked on my windows 7 computer and i'm finally able to hear sound again
