[SOLVED] Change weapon loadout?

Is there a way to change the order of my weapons? it's VERY annoying to have the rivet gun in the second slot and the auto-hack tool in the third. Like seriously, I can't tell you how many times a splicer surprises me, I automatically hit 3 (melee weapon slot for tf2, sort of a reflex) and wind up wasting a hack dart on a living dude.

Can't find the answer myself, help would be appreciated.

You have to edit the ini file in your user directory\appdata\roaming\bioshock2steam. It's called user.ini.

Find the line 1=equipweapon1 and start swapping things around from there. Whatever slot they're in now is the detaulf, so hack tool would be equipweapon3.

Wot, glad it worked for you. I was actually about to reply "Nope, there's no way to change bindings other than the in game options" when I remembered how I always bind a key to setFOV 100 for my 16:9 ratio and I thought I'd have a look, see if those were soft coded, and luck! woo!

I thought about the .ini file but I thought "nah, it's probably not in there."

I realize that this thread is 4 years old at the time of me posting this but an easier way is to simply change the key binding of weapon 3 :D

At the time, that was not an option. This was back when bioshock and bioshock 2 were still dropped, with no updates.

Did you simply change the key that is associated with each weapon, or did you actually change the weapon order?
