Will 2.5D games be possible?

just a quick question: Will this engine be able to make 2.5D games, like beat em ups, too? Something like this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CCrNWumooQ&t=15s

Eventually - at the moment I am working on creating the combat engine for the game. Which would allow for games that involve beat em ups. Not quite to the sophistication of in the video but maybe one day it might be possible.
