For the Admins of Robot Rumble 2, will there still be a way to upload robots from the ones downloaded on Discord to the game on the new Workshop or do I need to re-download them into a new folder? I ask because I checked the new layout and there was no 'Import Robot' section. Also, is there any possible way for Robot Rumble 2's update to run on computers that are a bit slower than gaming computers. Before the update it ran pretty well except during importing robots and loading both workshop and battle, but now it's not running well in the workshop at all. plus the settings don't seem to show key topics (the words in the red hexagons don't show on the computer i'm currently using which is an HP laptop). RSVP. Other than that, it's still an amazing game to play

Hi aletex2003,
Going forward new robots can be downloaded straight in to the Robots folder (and subfolders) without the need to put them in to UserRobots and import them. Your UserRobots folder will also be moved to your Robots folder when you first load in to this new version so you'll keep access to it all.

Okay, cool. Another thing. i am aware that the discord has a place for tutorials, but for those who don't have the best building background (me) and want to figure out how to fix things like weapon chains and other components that aren't attached in any downloads or build my own, is there a way to get an interactive tutorial or hint in the game itself. or will that be in a future update? I also asked the latter question because the old folder changed the robots i had from names to numbers, which made it harder to locate them.

I will say that adding new folders will definitely help with weight classifications, although i will admit my computer even on low quality doesn't let the game run well.

Is there a way to actually see inside of your robot while youre building it?

will there be more descriptions added to components, like motors, describing how strong each is, what its intended purpose is?

I will say, I Hope you do, eventually, decide to maybe incorprate a "Tournament mode" or whatever like RA2 had, though I get that would need people making teams or whatever.

That would be amazing. Also maybe online PVP. Of course, granted that there is a way for the game to have advanced quality options for faster or slower computers for fans of the game who have less-than-ideal computers to play, talking about mine that isn't built for gaming but I am a huge fan of combat robotics.

Cor. - In the panel on the left of the BotLab you can select to make Shapes and/or the Chassis transparent, this should help with seeing inside the bot (and allows you to select components hidden behind these parts). More detailed and informative descriptions being added to parts is currently being worked on at this time.

Ryusho Yosei - We do plan on adding in more single-player content and have been setting up the foundations for this, so watch this space for more news in the future!

aletex2003 - More detailed settings are definitely on the horizon, and work is being done to make more of the settings accessible in game.

Thank you all for trying out the game, it is greatly appreciated!

Which buttons?

None of them are labeled, or tell you what they do when you mouse over them. I had to restart the game after I clicked on the button to hide the entire panel.

To Cor. The settings have been fixed, when I sent the one about the issue it would originally not show the red hexagonal setting item's text. it shows the text now.

(to the devs), I still wish this game had detailed tips even with other people's robots that were downloaded as some were made in a later build. for example, I have a few robots (downloaded obviously) that would have all the electrical components outlined in red, meaning not attached (if you are aware of what that means, good), I don't know how to fix that and I am not an expert bot builder. Also, I have noticed that every downloaded arena with a pit doesn't register the OOTA function when a robot enters the pit. Other than that, this is still an amazing add to Steam, huge W.
