Mods using Elza Walker DLC are not working
So when I first started downloading mods I used some mods that used the Elza Walker dlc on them, now for some reason when I started playing the game with these mods and I DIDN'T have the dlc, it let me wear the outfit like I did own it and the mods were working fine. Now I started feeling a bit guilty about that so I bought the Elza dlc and now when I try to use these mods they don't work. I have to manually uninstall the dlc to get the mods working again but that just causes my game to crash when I try to look at the models or use my mod that switches Leon with Claire. For confused

Perhaps you have leftover files from previous mods.

My suggestion is to first verify the game's files, and then use Fluffy Manager 5000 to install them:

The cool thing with FM5000 is that If you install a mod by using it, it keeps a backup of the original files. When you disable it, it restores the original files back, so you can safely activate another mod which could possibly conflict.

Not sure if you are still having the issue but I found a solution that worked for me.

1. Uninstall all RE2 mods in Fluffy
2. Go to the game in steam and click "manage", click "browse local files"
3. Find the DLC folder (usually a string of numbers), right click it and uncheck "read-only"
4. Go back to Fluffy and click "re-read game archives"
5. Install your mod through Fluffy and enjoy
