I underclocked my gpu and it fixed it.
Reporting back after I fixed my problem with error: 0x8007000e.

Check if the paging file size of your drives is big enough. I recommend changing it to auto if it's not already.
Here's how to check it: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-2864547/manage-virtual-memory-pagefile-windows.html

Hope that helps

How do you underclock your gpu?

Edit: Alright, that didn't work for me. The problems went away for a little bit, but not completely.

So far the only I've found that works is underclocking.

You have Windows 7, check the Windows 7 fixes in the other threads.

You ran out of memory.
Overseer 27. Jan. 2019 um 15:12
I have my pagefile set manually long before Remake. It also barely scratches the maximum. Windows reported a 17 GB system commit and around 7 GB of RAM usage right before the system commit went up to 23 GB when the game crashed. There is some issue. Some instant memory leak or something.
This all happened in exclusive fullscreen. However playing in Borderless seems to have no crashes so far. Where right now i am again at a system commit of about 17 GB.
RE2 seems to assign about 6 GB of private bytes when running with my settings. Maybe i can gather some more data. And in any case the manual pagefile setting was not the solution.

So if you play in exclusive fullscreen, try borderless.
None of these fixes have worked for me. Underclocking the gpu seemed to allow me to play a little longer then 10-15 min, but the fatal application exit is still happening. I am getting tired of trying fixes and running the same part over and over only to find out it failed. If Capcom doesn't acknowledge this issue I'm just gonna throw the game into my backlog where it will live unfinished forever.

Edit- Underclocked my gpu a bit more then when I tried before and got 40 min in with no issue. Will confirm a longer play time when I get the chance.

I spent probably 8 hours total trying to fix this. My game would crash with this fatal exception error in the title screen, options menu, in a cutscene, just anywhere. I could play a maximum of 1 or 2 minutes at best. I finally got it working by capping the frames to 60 and changing the refresh rate to 60 as well(this may not be necessary).
My game was running at 144+ frames and my aasumption is this made it unstable for my current hardware (i5 6600k @ 4.4 ghz 16gb ddr4 2666mhz ram and 1080ti with a 165hz overclocked display). My CPU was running at 100% with uncapped frames as well and now it manages to stay at 60 to 80% utilization. Good luck I hope this simple albeit fix manages to get you back in the game!
