Is the 2nd run shorter?

My first playthrough was Leon and I finished in 6.5 hours. The Claire playthrough afterward I finished in 5.5 hours. I want to do Leon’s 2nd run now but is it shorter than the original first run? I’m not trying to speed run here, only curious of what time length I should expect.

In general, yes, they are shorter. The speed requirements for the rankings are significantly shorter.

It's shorter, because some of the stuff is either already solved (breaker room puzzle), you don't go there at all (that whole bit with the shutter at the beginning) or some items are in different places (that computer thing used to solve the puzzle at NEST, near the end).
