Trying to add Elza Walker mod but can not find the right folder.
Hey there everyone,

I found a mod to change the color of Claire's hair when using the Elza Walker mod. The mod has two simple instructions:

re_dlc_000.pak Goes in 920564 folder, make sure to back up the original.
Place the natives folder to the main resident evil 2 root directory and you're all set!

The second step is super easy. The first would be just as easy if it wasn't for one minor problem. I have no idea where the 920564 folder is located.

I tried looking in the steam userdata folder and nothing. i tried the actual game folder, and while being that there is a DLC folder inside of it, no 920564. I tried doing a search for the folder and the pak file name, but only get the location of the mod on my drive. I also tried dropping the pak folder in the DLC dirctory in the game folder, the main game folder, and the userdata folder in steam, and no luck. I tried dropping the pak file in the DLC directory and that failed to work too.

Here is the link to where I found the mod: https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/9979/elza-blonde-texture-swap

Does anyone have any idea where it goes?

Thank you in advance.

Oh and i should probably mention that, yes I own the Elza Walker costume DLC as well.

Going by the date it was posted, that mod predates the dx12 ray tracing update. To use it you'll need to switch to the dx11 non rt branch in betas.

Just to avoid files being left over, I'd suggest uninstalling the game entirely and deletign any leftover files in the install folder before changing to the dx11 branch.

Thank you. I tried that but I still can't find the 920564 folder anywhere.

Why aren't you using fluffy manager?

Thank you. i didn't know about it. I will check it out and see if that lets me load it.

Edit: I just tried Fluffy manager. It recognized the mod when i dropped it in the correct folder, but didn't work.

I guess it is not meant to be.

It should work. Are you using winrar or 7-zip?

You don't have to unzip what you download. You just place the zipped mod file into your fluffy mod folder. You have to choose game in fluffy and define path and maybe reread archive. Make sure the mod is for whatever version of the game you're running (D11 or D12).

I ran the game through Fluffy, and was forcing dx11 in launch options, since it was 2019.

I've never really been a mod fan, so if it won't work then I will live without it. But thank you.
