Are the dlcs worth it? Story wise ofc.
By dlcs i mean those extra "missions" that u can play, but it will have like a countdown or something. Is there some story in them or its just a shoot nˇ run and get to the objective asap? Finished the main game many times but i havent touched those. Not even once.

Damn. What a shame.

Also DLC stuff mostly relies on you avoiding/dodging enemies rather than killing them, which is entirely against how I play, I do avoid certain things that I only encounter once and never go back, but most of the stuff you backtrack in main game, so it helps to get rid of enemies.

I can run around enemies as well without taking any dmg, but i want some action. I have just finished yet again RE4 remake and i have the need to play most of the newer RE games and i just want to shoot stuff.

I also am not really much of a fun of rushing playthroughs just to get a good rating for time.

I would also like to play this game on hardcore, but the stupid idea of needing ink to save the game is stupid. I did it once in one of the RE games and it irritated me so much.

Saving using ink ribbons on hardcore difficulty is an homage to the old RE games. There will be plenty of ink for the entire game if you don't save the game every 5 minutes.

I know its old but i hate it. I just want higher diff, not be limited how many times i can actually save. For example RE4 is perfect in that way. You can play on very high diff but u dont need any ♥♥♥♥ like ink to save the game and it has the same disadvantage. No autosaves. I wish there was a mod that would remove the ink and i would play it again on hardcore this time.

The problem with DLCs is you don't have enough ammo to dispatch of every enemy, the "easiest", at least what developers grade easiest, has probably close to 100 enemies in total, with 2 groups containing easily up to 20 of them in a single area, with about 20% total being Pale Heads that take much more ammo to down, this turns the game into a running simulator where you pray you won't get grabbed and murdered, to make matters worse, infinite ammo is locked behind one of the worst DLCs in RE games yet.

It's a gameplay aspect of survival horror as a genre, you only have limited saves so you only use them in important parts.
There are more than enough ink ribbons to complete the game.
