How to dodge lickers, dogs and mutated medium sized enemies?
I remember back the old REZ 4 and REZ 5, the character could dodge the enemy attack in the last moment. I'm aware this REZ 2 but implementing the feature to fire at spree while moving...this didn't belong to original REZ 2 so why not allowed to dodge enemy attacks?

It's more focused on the horror rather than the action style of the later entries of 4, 5, 6. There is no dodging other than what you can pull off with the rather rudimentary system. That said, most of the lickers you can simply walk by without much trouble. It's when you're running or if you touch them when they aggro. And no, there was no actual dodging in 2, but there was in 3.
Ohh it was indeed on REZ 3....I keep remembering characters slipping at the last moment of the attack. I may have confused with REZ 4 and REZ 5. Good observation pointing that out.
I know it's not perfect, and it can be frustrating, but I hope you're able to appreciate RE2R for what it is. Good luck!

I will try. I've enjoyed mostly playing Resident Evil remastered Gamecube version here on Steam.
Lickers are very weak to being knived
Found this comment and I cannot believe some enemies still show diifficults to escape or anticipate their time of attack.

Zombies: You cannot. Shoot them in the head (assisted and standard) or in the leg (hardcore) to make them flinch so you can run past. Or use a flash grenade.

Dogs: Hold a ~30° line compared to their assumed trajectory and pray.

Lickers: Move slowly. Yes, even when they raise their head to "look" around.

G-Adults: shoot their "head" until they submerge or wait for their larvae spawn animation. They cannot cancel it, so you can easily walk past.

Ivy zombie: shoot any of the bulbs to make it stagger for a few seconds.

Tyrant: Stand still. When it stops moving, it will take a swing at you. Backpedal, and when it finished its hit animation, run forwards to get past.

Birkin: Apart from the first fight in the basement, where if you take longer than 30 seconds to finish him, then you are playing wrong, the trick is to run towards him, so his attack swings past you.

Super Tyrant: Run in a clockwise circle around the arena.

Trying 4th survivor mode and the two G-Adults in the sewer are freaking unbelievably annoying. At the R.P.D. when I met the Tyrant....come on he won't stop stalking me through all rooms. I've managed to get in R.P.D. main entrance surrounded by zombies and Tyrant on my back in No Training difficult.
