Is it okay nowadays to play this game using;
Keyboard and mouse or will that only slow any attempt to achieve goals with trophies or maybe there may lack of optmizations in the perfomance? I've read threads back about four years ago where users were there have been perfomance hit regarding using K+M.
Is still a thing or this game have been fully patched after the ''next-generation'' convertion from few years ago?

Dying Light 2 is freaking annoying me so bad with bloatware of updates and Dead Island 2 became unresponsive during the release time where achievements are still not being unlockable as I've thought they would be.

I have played Resident Evil Remastered, Resident Evil Biohazard 5 so I have some experience with the game although trying REZ 3 remaster demonstration and I notice the playable doll gets sloppy with some animation movements like running. Do REZ 2 does act the same or will the playable character stop moving after you order to stop without any slowness?

Also the requirements page does not mention the need of Solid State Drive. Can I run this on a standard Hard Drive Disk?

It might take some practice if you're used to a controller, but I will say that I haven't noticed a significant enough time loss from using K+M to prevent getting any achievements. I don't have them all because I'm not good enough at the game to get Hardcore S+ yet, but ones like 14000 steps and Standard S+ shouldn't be a problem with some practice. I use the Non-RT version because I have costume mods that don't work with the RT version, so the RT version may be slightly different.

That is understantable even for me with REZ remastered took me about 70 hours to actually get all Steam achievements with lots of training and repetition. And no I have never used joystick on my PC....always have been keyboard and mouse player.
Do you notice any problems regarding the playable character not responding correctly if you press more than 4 buttons in the keyboard? Have you ever noticed perfomance impact using keyboard+mouse?

Also is the Raytrace next-gen mode optional to run? How does that work? Is it like a diferent shortcut in the library or is it alternative prompt startup option to the run the game using Raytrace aspects?
People playing the game using smartphones and Windows emulator.

I can't say I've noticed any issues with too many keys pressed, but typically I'm only ever pressing one or two at a time, three at most, so any errors in movement are almost certainly my own fault lol. I haven't noticed any performance impact, but I also play on low graphics settings to take advantage of the way knife damage works.

I believe the way you switch from RT to Non-RT and back is enabling/disabling a beta branch in your Steam library, but I'm not at my computer and haven't done it in a while, so I don't remember exactly; it'll say Non-RT version next to the game name once it's set correctly. I don't know if it makes a significant difference to performance whether you're on it or not, because I only did a couple of runs before switching and neither were at a point where I was even remotely decent at the game lol.

You can play this one with M&K no problem.

The speed to archieve tropies depends on your player Skill, not the input method. I clear the game with S+ Rank with controller or with Keyboard. Your choice depends on if you are better at aiming with a mouse or a controller.

You can run this game on a Hard Disk drive but it runs smoother on a SSD. Compared to 2019, an SSD is not expensive.
I have the operating System and the current Game I play on the fast SSD, while keeping the large game installation files of the games, I do not play anymore, on my Datagrave HDD. As the price per TB is lower for HDD (16€/TB on 2025 prices) than SSD (60€/TB)

By the way thanks for confirming this can be played on a standard Hard Drive. Still in my plans to change one of HDD for 1 terabyte SSD.

If anything keyboard and mouse is the best way to play. Allows for much more accurate headshots as the zombies stumble around.

Tested the demo once more and I couldn't enjoy the field of view in third person where the camera stay too close to the character while the surroundings are not noticable even If I try at my best to pay attention to keep in alert for items and enemies. That thing still can annoying in the demo.

About the aim control even using mouse, it seems like the speed rate is stuck to camera movement in general.
Is the actual game get to have mouse speed or acceleration diferent settings for aiming sensitivity and for moving the camera around or still the same as found in the demo?
