this game is way too hard
this game is a joke man its way harder than RE4 that I finished recently. I cant find any clues, too many puzzles/locks to solve like come on, how on earth did people solve this without looking up anything on the internet on how to solve them. thats why I quit this game and switched to RE4 because that isnt as hard. now im back here giving it another try but damn man, this game really makes me mad.

im stuck, always running in circles not knowing what to do. This game should have an option to turn on where the game just freaking tells you what to do everytime.

Look in your journal for the code to the medallion puzzles.

will do
Just as a general tip going forward, I can only think of 4 puzzles in the game where the answer isn't either spelled out plainly in one document or another, or the document tells you how to find the answer in the environment (like Leon's Desk locks say to learn the names of his coworkers, and then you go look at their nameplates for the answers). 3 of those puzzles are legitimate puzzles, 1 shared by both Leon and Claire later into the game, and 2 that are similar puzzles that Leon and Claire have different solutions for in different places; the last says both the location of the lock and the answer to get it open in big red letters that aren't easy to miss.

Key items are generally found after you've seen something blocked by them (the Spade Key and Chain Cutters, for example), or if they need to be combined, one part will be found before the obstacle, then you'll encounter the obstacle, and then you'll find the missing part and can then go back to clear it.

If you think you don't have enough information for the next step of the game, odds are you've either missed a document somewhere, or have picked up a key item and are forgetting a spot to use it; I found it helpful my first playthrough to check doors I knew I couldn't open, just to put a map marker on the door, so I could check it and see where I hadn't been and if I had the tools to get there.

I hope you find more enjoyment in your fresh attempt. ♥️

♥♥♥♥♥ sake.

Explore rooms that are red more because you missed something. That's how you beat RE2.

At this point, if this guy didn't had a somewhat public profile i would thought it was a steampoint farmer...

But i must always remind myself that the saying "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" exists.

The game is one of the more difficult ones in the series. The difficulty is kind of old school. I personally love it but I understand how infuriating it can be when you miss some simple clue and get stuck. Running in circles is painful.

You can use a simple guides like these ones:

Then keep exploring.

The game gives you plenty of information about what your current goal is.

You should not need to be led by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nose through every game.
