gotcha! achievement is bugged ?

ive tried to do it around 5 times now and everytime i attempt, it never gives me the achievement ? am i doing something wrong ? ive followed guides, knocked him down multiple times, hit him when hes standing up and kneeling down.

it just refuses to give me it and this sucks considering i was halfway through getting all the achievements.

The crane can only be used once. Birkin's second form has 24k XP. Crane deals 13k damage. If the boss has less than 13k XP, the faucet will leave him 1 XP. If the boss has less than 11k XP, the crane will kill him. Approximately 3.5k-4k damage will catch the boss (he will kneel).
The most effective weapon against Birkin when he gets down on his knee is a knife (assuming you have a stable 130 FPS).
