It seems you don't know cappy lost a big chunk of their raw project files... To the point they literally had to redo some of the older games from scratch for some of the current rereleases.
The current classic collection on GOG is only endorsed by capcom, but not really made by them.
On top of that, with the close announcement of "IX", "zero" remake and whatever the other title + another set of rereleases to next gen consoles, do you really think capcom will take their already full dev time team finish a discarded concept from decades ago?
