leon wong and cleon mods not working right, any help?
so i've always loved this game and a long while ago i got into modding it, now i liked the leon wong mod in particular for some of the fun ada mods out like assignment ada costume (love that one). now this was working for several months but around a year or so ago it decided to lose it's mind a bit, so the noir costume does still work fine, giving the wonderful ada trechcoat costume as well as the ada walker costume, but the rest loom atrocious now. it's trying to load both the leon and ada head model at the same time and it's extremely annoying because that means no extra costumes for me on that front. i know this is a stupid problem that probably no one else cares about but if anyone knows of a way to fix this i'm all ears because i'm tired of dealing with this issue. also yes it happens with the cleon mod as well, the same exact issue in fact. i suppose i can venture away from the mod if need be but i'd rather not stop using it if there's a fix. to stop the inevitable questions, yes i've redownloaded both mods, tried older versions, and updated the fluffy mod manager

bit of an update, i uninstalled all mods, validated the files(none needed to be reinstalled) then re-read the archives and all of a sudden both cleon and leon wong are working absolutely perfectly. i am beyond confused as to what fixed it but here we are

Most likely those mods are for the original version of the game, not the one with ray-tracing.

i'm using the non ray tracing version of the game, if i was using the wrong version it simply will not do anything, i tested that. likely should've mentioned that

Odd, that's really the only thing that has changed in the updated version of the dx11 branch is needing the costume dlcs to use replacers for the dlc costumes unlike older patches.

I'm not familiar with those particular mods, but the ones I do have around I haven't had issue with in spite of them dating back to several years ago.

Make sure fluffy manager is actually updating? I had to manually update mine when I was on 3.09 because in spite of the updater downloading 3.014, it was claiming I was already on that version.

apparently i'm using version 3.015, i did just update it today so i'm not surprised it's up to date

there was a recent patch that broke all the mods and required fluffy mod manager updated, chances are you needed to do that, plus uninstall/verify/reread archives/reinstall. Sometimes installing and uninstalling mods often without doing a full uninstall and reread can break ♥♥♥♥. That's always my first go-to when something isn't working right.

i'll have to keep that in mind for future issues i might have with the manager. at the time i was very worried that my playing it on linux was the issue but knowing now that it isn't is a huge relief
