Do you mean that you prefer accurate, properly-coded controls? Or.... Do you mean something else?
Do you mean that the enemies are damage sponges? Bullet sponges? That it doesn't matter how accurate, how skillful you are... it only matters how many bullets you embed into the enemy's... spongey body?
One thing I like is being able to move the camera freely, in this way one can appreciate the work behind the character's model and grasp a better notion of your surroundings. However, the camera is also what affects the direction of movement so, if you want to check what's behind you or quickly traverse a staircase while running, it will cause your character to violently turn itself around. This in particular feels a little odd.
On the other hand is the way the shooting aspect is made. For what I understand until now: one is supposed to keep aiming until the reticle closes itself for maximum accuracy/damage, but every shot reset the position and also moves it a little. I get they're trying to... Well, "aim" (lol) for realism but it feels to me that this makes the gunplay being sluggish, slow.
That last thing could be linked to, yes, the zombies here being undoubtedly "bullet sponges" so it can take a lot to kill a single one. Furthermore it feels like there's also RNG in effect and one zombie can go down in three bullets while other can endure like eight well positioned headshots.
Just to clarify though, all this doesn't mean I find the game hard or that it's bad, as I totally get what they are trying to do here with making the combat "harder" on purpose: the OTS camera essentially kills the difficulty of the classic entries (0, 1, 2, 3, REmake) so, in order to mimmick the same approach of "fight or flight", they decided that enemies needed to be tougher, aiming takes more effort and that crippling limbs was the way to go. Although I far prefer the gameplay of RE4, RE5, Revelations and (to a lesser extent) Revelations 2 rather than the recent remakes.
"...it will cause your character to violently turn itself around. This in particular feels a little odd."
I think this is standard console game design.

Yes, these are absolutely inexcusable gameplay mechanics. When you are shooting a basketball, you don't want a device near the rim affecting whether your shot goes in or not.
TBH, as an old gamer who played 2 and 3 first, I think 2R and 3R are good on their own but very bad remake and I completely agree with everything in the video.
Thank you for posting this. She's on point.
Some people prefer the strong woman lifting the laser cannon that weights several thousand pounds in Re3r. Wasn't for me, but whatever. I'll stick with my mysogynistic Re2r.
Ironically, I think RE3R missed the point by trying to make Jill a "badass" character when she already was one. They totally changed her for no reason and the Railgun Scene was out of place (considering how the remakes tends to aim for realism).
Oh yeah dude, you totally watched the whole video and "suspiciously" only repeated what Pasportaves already said about it... It seems you don't waste time with the baits.
Anyways, I better go play some more RE instead of keep wasting time with you. Good luck.
Yes, agreed. I actually think she was more heroic in the original, despite having the miniskirt and boots, which was only icing anyway.
She criticise her personality change compared to og, same for Leon. She isn't saying he's "manly", she's saying he doesn't act like a normal human in critical situation.
Looks like you have troubles comprehending spoken English because non of what you've said was in the video.
