This game doesn't have enigma yet and that's not what it does to begin with even if it did have it.
What Enigma has shown to be good at is preventing memory based modification/tweaking. So, you will NOT be banned for using a trainer, but many, if not all, features of it will cease to function. So, to prevent this, make your updates to be on launch and lock you app manifest file for the game.
And of course, if you're a steam deck user, ur kinda screwed upon first implementation.
And if you were curious about the eula, it does not ban modification. If says that modification and viewing the game's files are acceptible with regards to your country's laws. So, if you are in the US, we have fair use and using a trainer does not impose any business threat towards capcom, so do not worry.
Just uhhh, don't tell em you're modding. They're known to nuke youtube channels for arbitrary or dumb reasons. So if you got one, don't even think about showin mods, they're bringin the hammer down rn.
Hope that helps ;)
So you can mod to your heart's content at the moment.
If Enigma gets implemented maybe the unsupported DX11 version will still be fine.
And of course free"sea"version............
Regardless Enigma will likely block mods which tweak .exe or memory like most FOV mods, ultra wide screen mods,
And likely direct X to Vulkan mod which will make Non windows version run worse if they launch at all.....
So primary quality of life mods......
And of course perfomance impact will likely affect weaker hardware such as Steam Deck much more.....
And yes Capcom often legaly goes againts modders even if they do something like a harmless speed running assit tool many channels got striked or legaly threatened.
So if you have youtube best avoid showing mods.....
Of course if Engima gets lightly implemented like in RE5 maybe some modders will find ways around DRM.
Even if that was true, capcom can not take your steam and other non capcom games off you. If anything you would get a game ban but that wouldn't even happen. So who ever these 3 people are are full of it.
re5 has been using enigma for over a year and you don't get any bans for cheating there
