Apparently there is o which I hate to even mention tbh never even played it. Then RE1 RE2 RE3 then Code Veronica RE5 and RE6. RE4 follows another story and path. While there others keep in line with the original, which revolves around Whisker. Who along with another person who helped fund the research started it all. Which players learn in Code Veronica.
They should do 1 next, but could be 5 or even 0.
It's a remake.
It is VERY MUCH a remake. On a completely different engine with completely different assets from the PS1 original it is a remake of.
However, I would really like a new remake of RE1 in this modern style. Exploring the mansion freely in 3D would be great.
