Ada is the type of woman I would ignore, so out of the two the obvious choice is Claire.

I really pity Leon for being so petty and easily manipulated by a pretty face, it detracts from his character honestly.

Agreed, Claire just seems like it girl next door who can kick ass. Ada on the other hand feels like she just says one thing and does another. Can't trust her.

Seriously though, Ada is cool, a no nonsense woman, I like it. Whether she can be trusted is anybody's guess but she seems to be watching out for Leon, so there is that. Claire on the other hand is nice, and she's tough. But she seemed a little green, like a teenager. eg. Five mins after meeting Leon she's practically climbing on his lap... .. so there is that.
Either / or? I'd say Ada. At least you know where you stand with her.

I don't think Ada would do that to Leon though, on the contrary, she is always in the shadow, secretly protecting Leon.

I think it's about world view. Claire just wants the nightmare to end and would happily move to the country with Sherry and her best BF and spend her time growing tomatoes etc.
Ada on the other hand is a soldier, she wants to fix the problem. I never believed that she was a mercenary, I always wondered if she was BSAA, or something deeper.
What decision would you make? The cute squeeze or the comrade?
