They are separate games. The remake does not need to be a 1:1 recreation to be a good game or a good remake. It still portrays the story. It is still a good game.
"BUT NOT PROPER REMAKE" is the same tier of tired drivel people have been spouting since the series moved away from fixed camera angles and tank controls.
Stop living in the past.
Sense is what it is based on, logic, not nostalgia.
Stop writing other people off, it's ignorant and arrogant.
The original game has not aged well. None of the fixed camera games have, really. Possibly the remake of one if only because tank controls are an option rather than mandatory.
There's a reason games moved away from that mechanic. It was never good. It was a product of lesser understanding about controlling movement in a 3d space. Same reason we had things like mandatory inverted camera controls, the frankly bizarre controls involved in GoldenEye and other decrepit concepts.
Amusing considering your posts.
Enjoy being lonely.
Minor changes happen, and yet somehow it's some great sin here but the best thing ever with RE1. Go figure.
