Can Birkin G5 be beaten with just the LE 5?

Ok so I am on the train at the very end of the 2nd run. I speed ran the game so never bothered to pick up any other guns than what was in the item chest. I assumed the sub machine gun was suffice.

I can't seem to be able to kill Birkin in time before he insta deaths me. Can it be done with the LE 5? I've clocked just over an hour in game time so would like to finish this run if at all possible

There's gunpowder right there, use your handgun as soon as the eye opens and then finish off with whatever.

Or, as I'm always prone to suggest, knife it.

I have unlimited handgun and sub machine gun. I fire 4 clips into the eyeball and then die no matter what I do

I haven't confirmed it, but I've noticed people having trouble using infinite weapons that aren't the minigun or rocket launcher on him. Use regular weapons or knife him 6-8 times.

Ok so, I finally beat him. The LE5 and Samurai edge wasn't enough to beat him no matter what I did.

I managed to beat him using Claires stock handgun without speed loader. I basically reloaded a couple times and used 1 knife swipe to finish him off. Easy considering the trouble I had using the unlimited ammo weapons.

Oh I didn't realise you could die in this section, I thought it was an interactive cutscene lmao. He's invulnerable until his eye opens then just unload whatever you have into the eye.
