(SOLVED) Fetal D3D Error (26) - Crash on Launch

Anyone else experience this after new update? Please let me know if you have an idea how to fix it

EDIT: What worked for me (each time this issue returned) is to go to my re2 install dir, open the re2_config.ini file and delete everything inside it, save, and it works. For me toggling HDR on and off sometimes causes this issue thought there may be other causes for diff ppl.

It happens to me especially with the RT activated. If you want to have RT activated, I advise you to lower the other options so as not to consume so much VRAM and you will no longer get that error.

I'm getting the same error, except I can't even make it to the start screen. Game just crashes after the logos intro

Go to re2 install location and open and delte everything inside your re2_config.ini file

Thanks, at least it's running now before it crashes. The however, will crash straight to desktop again if I dare turn on HDR. Never seen this before.

I have the same issue but sadly it didn't work for me =(
And yes, I have a DX12 card.

For me, as long as I toggle HDR on / off only once, it doesnt crash.

Edit: Are you sure you cleared the right ini file? make sure its re2_config.ini, not re2_config_default.ini

у меня ошибка Fatal D3D error (25) причем сначала падение fps до 30-27, потом вылет на рабочий стол. Предполагаю нужно ждать оптимизацию драйвера нвидиа.
