How worth is it to play both campaigns ?
I think I completed 3/4 of claire's campaign and I enjoy the game.
I'm wondering if I'll play Leon's campaign right afer, I'm a bit concerned that most of the game seems to be quite the same. Is it the case ?

Thanks ! :D

Conversely, playing Leon's game will unlock Claire's second route.

Beating both will get you extra modes.
Thanks ! I guess that it'll bring enough variety to the walkthrough !
Leon and Claire have different weapons available to them:
Claire: Handgun, machine gun, grenade launcher, spark shot, minigun (final boss only)
Leon: A different handgun, shotgun, magnum, flame thrower, rocket launcher (final boss only)

Leon and Claire face different final bosses: Leon = super tyrant, Claire = G4
Leon also has an additional short boss fight in the sewer.

Leon and Claire can access different areas of the map, about 20-40% difference.
For example, Leon can get the spade key in the RPD and access the boiler room, prison area. Claire can get the heart key and access the commissioner's office areas.
They also start in different parts of the sewers. How they get to the sewers from the RPD is also very different.

Claire has a unique Sherry sequence, Leon has an Ada sequence.

More than half of the cutscenes are different for them.

In the "2nd run" mode, there are additional differences:
Expedited arrival at RPD
Access to a slightly more powerful handgun unique to the character selected
Tyrant appears earlier, before facing G1 for the first time
Item placements, puzzle solutions, enemy placements are different
The initial RPD section prior to the G1 fight is very different
No item box or typewriter in the RPD main hall.
Access to the true final boss and true ending.

There are slight difference between Leon and Claire:
- weapons used
- route
- boss fights
- partner

If you want something different on your next run, you can play on higher difficulty or do a challenge run like no item box challenge.

Apart from that you may also learn a few new tricks in your subsequent playthroughs to keep it fresh

You can also unlock 4th survivor if you finish both scenarios. There are other criteria iirc but can't remember exactly

My only real complaint with the B routes is that I absolutely hate Claire's B route alternate handgun.

Yeah, it's more damage than her starting revolver, but, god it reloads so slow.

it's not just about dealing more damage, you can spam shoot with it, which is a guaranteed stagger for any zombie. Maybe even lickers too, can't remember

Leon has additional boss fight in the sewer? You mean G embryo's introduction?
