black screen after HDR selection

Am using an external LG 2K monitor on my laptop, for some weird reason the game launches all titles are shown (Capcom,Nvidia etc..), auto save HUD then HDR selection HUD, after that no matter what I chose turning HDR on or off the game goes to a black screen with only the mouse cruiser showing
keep in mind the game runs perfectly on my laptop without the external monitor

solutions I tried:
Verfying game files
reinstalling the game
updating windows and graphic driver
Updating framework and DirectX

I7 9th gen with RTX 2070 max-q
LG UltraGear 27 inç 27GL83A-B QHD

could it be that the game is looking for 2 HDR displays and is only finding one?

You may have to disable HDR or disconnect the non-HDR display if thats the case.

To disable HDR without loading into the game and have the black screen : Browse to the game directory and delete RE2_config.ini to load the game up with the default settings.
