Just beat Leon's story, do I need to do Claire?

Is the 2nd play through really that different? Or could i just read a quick synopsis to see what Claire was up to. Do you also basically start from scratch and need to get all the weapons and etc all over again, or is it like a new game plus?

I am just kinda on a Resident Evil tear. The only one I ever beat was RE1 and RE4 years ago, but the past few days I blew through 7 and 2. I was thinking of going for RE 3 now and maybe revisiting Claire later. Thoughts?

How does that make any sense at all? I play it because it' a video GAME. A GAME. I enjoy the game play. If a replay with Claire is just the same game with a slightly different story then who cares. I definitely do not play a GAME for the story. That's what books and movies are for.

Its pretty similar more like a new game + with some extra content. Like cutscenes are shortened or don't happen at all and there are some extra boss fights and some super cool sections so i personally recommend doing it again but if you have no motivation to replay it come back and do it another time.

1. The beginning segment is different

2. Claire and Leon both have their 'exclusive' gameplay segments about halfway through the story, so yes you will need to play both not just for story but also gameplay exclusive to each character

3. The rest of the game is pretty similar, apart from some items and zombies being in different places to spice things up

4. You will also get a different and TRUE ending if you finish any characters' B scenario.

So in summary, do Claire's B Scenario. You won't regret it.

Lol, you're just saying straight up bs. If you're just playing it for the gameplay, then just replay the same Leon scenario or whatever, it doesn't make a difference if you don't care about the story and you only care about the gameplay, the fun part is what matters. However, if you didn't like the gameplay, then just quit the game altogether, screw the story and doesn't even matter what happens with Claire and if there's any difference at all. Why lose 5h to finish a stupid game again, right?
