This makes no sense? The word remake means they reimagined the game. What you're looking for is remaster, which two and three were neither.

Lets reimagine Mario 64, lets remove half the levels being the most recognizeable ones exactly the ones to be removed, on the remaining levels lets remove half the enemies and make the levels narrower and more simplistic because we dont want to force the player to explore, what also mean that is no castle anymore, just a corridor with the levels in the order the devs want you to play, also lets keep just 2 stars per level, 1 star for reaching the end of the level and 1 star for 100 coins, where always one location have 30 coins at the same place because we dont want players spending time with collectathon thing and, why not, lets set a lot of Quick Time Events through the game to add more modern gameplay ... and lets call it Mario 64 Remake ... that is exactly the sort of crap that was done at RE3 Remake and why I can not see it as a Resident Evil but as a generic zombie shooter trying to be a Left 4 Dead wannabe but with Resident Evil logo and characters at it.

Wrong , preorders is not the problem but the people who preoder. I Haven't regretted not even one of my previous preorders and not my upcoming one and you want to know why ??...it's because before I preorder a game I do a good amount of research on what the game is about and I have my expectations in check but the people did neither of these with Cyberpunk 2077 ,at least not the majority . In conclusion , the people who are mindless and have unrealistic expectations are the plague of the industry , not the preorders . It's easy to blame something else but not ourselves

Pre-orders are 100% a problem too. Pre-orders literally shape how much faith and resources a publisher and investors will pump into a game's development. Why do you think the industry is pushing them so much with special items and stuff? They want the numbers, they NEED the numbers. I'd recommend you never pre-order games, unless you do it on thrid party websites, that in theory shouldn't affect official numbers. The last console game I pre-ordered was Tf1 and I was disappointed. Not only was it delayed on last gen, but it wasn't ready yet. Launch Titanfall had nothing to do. It didn't even have the generation (prestige) system. I played for a week and dropped it, because there simply was nothing to do.
Then I pre-ordered RE3 (solely for REsistance) last year for 42 Euro, that's it. I see no reason to pre-order any game. Worst case you get disappointed or outright scammed with how bad it is. Best case scenario you get the game you expected, but guess what? There's no reason to pre-order then. You could've bought it on launch just fine. That's why they're pushing exclusive/paid content for pre-orders. Pre-order now to get a limited time item! Pre-order now to get these 2 costumes for free instead of having to buy them later!

The only time I can see pre-orders being useful is with limited quantity editions, like higher-end collector's editions that are sought after. There it makes sense to go "Hey, I want that. Please reserve one for me."

i will not pre-order RE8 nor RE4 Remake nor any other RE Game.

RE3 Remake was the biggest scam I have ever experienced 60$ for 4h content. WoW
Plus a terribe RE Restistance that I played for 40min and it bored me to death.


RE2 was a true master piece although it was altered and I did not really like the undestroyable Mr X but I still enjoyed it a lot. At least the gore, horror and story was perfectly fine.

I won't preorder it because preordering games is stupid. I'll buy it a month after release when a lot of reviews will be out and a lot of people will have already play it.

Why pre-order a digital game? It is not like they will run out.
As for pre-order bonus's, they will usually come out as a pack later on with a GoTY edition.
Rather than don't pre-order. Don't buy in the first year, wait for the game to go from being a paid beta-trial and all the patches to come out to make the game playable, then buy it on sale, save heaps, get all the bonus's.

A lot of great games have tons of cut content like shadow of the colossus for example, hell soul reaver is missing half the game and its still great re3 remake wasn't perfect but its a fine game,stop being so salty
