Resident Evil it's not the average manga where everyone looks the same, but lately they even went into face scans, so i was finally expecting that a precise nationality looks like should.
That said. Something about the voice and the facial features was great. Her dialog lines were fantastic as well. Hell her entire scenario was the best part of that game.
What the hell is "precise nationality"? Sounds like a term the nazis would have used back in 1940 or something. It's not always so obvious whether a person from Asia is Chinese, Japanese or Korean. In case of RE2R Ada, she may as well be one of the three. Don't just follow the internet stereotypes, go out and see more people.
Ada Wong is well know she's chinese, so how do you expected to look like?
It's like they made Leon or Claire japanese looks alike, as they are americans and the whole series it's located in an immaginary american city.
Indeed names do exist. Correct me if I`m wrong but I think everyone here has a name. I don`t think anyone was debating that.
Got the point?
I'm not talking of nationality, but appareance, and the old Adas whre slightly looking as an asian girl, with the latest ones beign too caucasic, when she's chinese, not by nationality, but by born.
Anyway i think it's a waste of time trying to reason with someone who don't want to understand what i'm trying to say.
She's described as an American of asian descent, I may have missed it if it was mentioned that she's mixed.
Sure, there are times when you hear a person's name, you could imagine what they would look like, but often times, that's not the case.
Though scammers from India introducing themselves as 'John Smith' with heavy Indian accent is obviously a dead giveaway.
Re2 Remake finally have a real asian look at my eyes.
It's nitpicking, but they say that a charachter has born in a precise nation or by parents nationality, i expect the look to be choerent at least.
For a time that someone find some other plus point in the remake...
