Does this include running as well?
Yes, includes running as well however you are faster than him and he doesn’t pinpoint you straight away like shooting a gun does. So as long as theres no lickers involved that youre trying to avoid, go ahead and run.
-Go to the hallway of the Records Room walking, cause there are 1 or 2 lickers there, so they can hear you
-Enter to the room and pick the items you need
-When you open the door you will have Mr X at your LEFT very close to the door, and the lickers behind him.
-So the way is just RUN TO THE RIGHT. Go to the Operation room, jump up the vent to the other hallway on the other side. He is gone by then
Note: If you do too much noise in that hallway before enter the Records room, you will be picking up the items and Mr X will get INSIDE the room. That is what happened to me. I was picking up the grenade and when I turned around he way already inside at my face. I could not even run cause I was between a desk (where the grenade was) and 2 wall). So no escape.
So I go there again quietly and plan the route out to the right.
