I get what you mean but one of my fave lines in Revelations 2 was

Claire: whew, I was almost a Claire sandwich

Yeah he's extremely corrupt. He's literally a *censored word that rhymes with tape-ist* and obviously has other dark desires and hobbies. Everybody hates him but Umbrella keeps him in power because he does whatever they say. He even has all the guns and ammo spread around the police station so the police can't fight properly.

I did NOT pick up that much info about that guy from the old game, I was a kid though so it probably went over my head, makes it dire that we know he takes sherry to an orphanage, yiiiikes.

Yes I believe there is a file to read in RE2 that says he *censored word* female colleagues, but he was never investigated because he was very good at his job or something so nobody was willing to take him down for it.

Apparently he's a serial killer and his victims all women (evidence of this in his torture room in RE2).

While the infection of the water supply in Raccoon City (that caused the outbreak in RE2) was entirely an accident, Irons decided that everybody should die and gave orders to make sure the police stayed confused and not armed enough to resist or react properly.

He also killed the Mayor's daughter (the dead blonde girl in his office in RE2). He makes it sound like she was about to become a zombie but he killed her, then took her to his creepy torture room.

I didn't pick any of this up as a kid either. I knew he was creepy and a bad guy but... most of this went over my head when I was 10-years old lol.

IIRC he thought he was infected and wanted everyone to die with him, so he sabotoged the RPD deliberately. Yeah pretty messed up guy.
