Reshade Filters: FakeHDR, Clarificy, LumaSharpen.
Is that what you are using? TAA and reshade?
I might give a try when the game launches. I’ve never used reshade before.

Personally I'm playing the game at 1800p + 1.50 DSR (Slightly higher resolution than 4k.), 100% Smoothness. TAA enabled & NVIDIA's FXAA enabled combined with the new sharpening filter at 60%. My TV also adds even more sharpening..
Most of the shimmering is gone, even on the fence to your left when you enter the police station. And objects still seem to have crisp edges, like the statue in the main hall.
Using ReShade (along with FXAA + TAA on) got me results I was happy with.

Chose this spot as it gives a good representation of strengths plus weaknesses.
That little blur spot near the center bottom is what I presume to be floating dust. It leaves a trail of light, but it's minor and only happens here. Not sure if ReShade or one of the anti-aliasing methods is what's causing it.
There's a bit of shimmering in the area on the floor beyond the door too.
Overall, it's mostly sharp (not blurry) and deals with the aliasing rather well, plus fixes the game's color filtering that I didn't like.
The f*ck you babbling about moron.
