i know , i know, my rig cant run this game using max setting at all, however i WAS ABLE TO TO SELECT it nonetheless, so you can bet your♥♥♥♥♥my fps is paying for this.
What do you guys think?
Look how Leon looks graphically awesome and the blood stains look very poorly in comparison

That looks normal. Are you some kind of blood spatter analyst?

That's texture quality on 1.0 g isn't it? Yeah that is the result you're gonna get. Still looks decent though.

I have a "problem" with Marvin beard, maybe are REngine shaders, but it's not smooth it's more like a grid of point, i don't know how to explain, i'll try to make a screenshot.
Maybe it's a thing of the engine, like Mia hairs being blocky no matter what aa you set.

I took a couple of screenshots, i think it's an AA issue, at least on my rig, but i don't know if someone else have the same problem.

I have everything maxed out, except quality at 100%, i tried to rise and everytthing turn into a slideshow, even resetting the options or putting at 50%.
Don't know how i fixed this, but it fixed.

Both dx11 and 12.
Both SMAA and TAA.
FXAA+TAA it's too overall blurry, it look everything washed out.

AMD FX 6350
GTX960 Strix
16Gb Ram

I don't know the frame rate, but it's pretty playable, i don't know if i'm around or lower than 60, it's not silky smooth but pretty far for slow, no hiccaps, lags or stutters so far, only complain are the shaders rendered in that strange ways.

I had to disable Reflections too, they "ghost" everything.

Maybe it's a limit of the engine when AA comes togheter with Shaders, as in Mia hairs in RE7, they where realistics but awfully pixelated.

That's hallmark of the RE Engine. It's great at a lot of things, but textures is not one of them.

Capcom also had a problem with applying textures in Monster Hunter World where some objects would load on lowest texture while other objects stayed at high setting and this could happen at any given time. It still happens even now.

You're using interlaced mode

Nope, normal render.
SakouTH Jan 14, 2019 @ 1:10pm
changing the anti aliasing from fxaa to taa fixed it for me.
illgib Jan 14, 2019 @ 2:00pm
With fxaa it's all too blurry, in RE7 where less noticeable, but here it's too washed out.
If i remember correctly there is a film grain setting. Turn that crap off. Maybe full game will be even better, not sure. I know that even if you can max out a game sometimes you shouldn't it's more worse than it is good. High resolution+min-maxing settings is best.
