Reset demo timer - here is how.

Trainer is now available. Use google to find it (very easy to find). I've tested it and it simply works :)

Don't want to use trainer and afraid of viruses ? (though it's confirmed this trainer is virus free)

UPDATE for my initial post: It seems this timer reset works only for the very first room. Once you progress further - it'll save your time and this work around won't reset timer.

When you are running out of time - minimize demo (alt+tab) and terminate process through task manager. Start game - you have 30 minutes again.

Tested couple of times - it works...for now.

From task manager select "Processes" and select RE2 app. Right click on it and select "end task".

Looks like the programmers forgot to add the time to the cleanup code in case the demo terminated unexpectedly.

Hope they don't patch it before I get home from work

Oh wow, I just noticed the demo has achievements.
5/10/20/30 minutes played etc.

I guess I won't be getting that 30 minute achievement anytime before the 25th of Jan :P

I finished the demo with 10:21 left on another account. Went into the game again and messed around for 1 minute and ended it through Task Manager. Time was 9:18 left.

Apparently, you can only reset it once the timer begins in-game (not the menu screen). Once I started mine up again, it set it back to 10:21 (The time i had left when i finished the demo). It doesn't reset it to 30 min which sucks tho :(
