Resident Evil 8: Village Trailer Luis Sera WTF??

I believe that I saw Luis Sera in the trailer for the game. How this can be possible?? Please enlighten me.

I think it's pretty clear from 7 that they have given up on any kind of plot that has anything to do with Resident Evil. I don't even think that game was originally a RE game at all.

I believe that this game will connect the new games (7,8) to RE4 which also had different kinds of enemies than other games. Those enemies in the new games (humans slightly turned into hostiles) are similar to the villagers in the RE4.

His eyes and hair look pretty similar. They have different noses, probably you are right. However, the theme is similar.

Yeah probably, most of the fans say this now. However, I don't think that a merchant would be in the first trailer. Time will show us.

I think the whole point to 7 was to start a new plot or story, move the series forward, and abandon the cluster ♥♥♥♥ of a plot that Resident Evil had after 5 and 6. I think the best thing for Resident Evils plot is to stop trying to connect each game to the previous one. It just becomes impossible to make any sense of it.
