Leaving Items Behind for Game B
In the original RE2 the player has the option of leaving several valuable items behind for themself in their second playthrough with the other character (whichever of Leon/Claire they did not chose for the first run). This included an inventory expansion item, a weapon (flamethrower if memory serves) and some ammo.

Does anyone know if that's the case in the REmake? I see the Safety Deposit Room and sidepacks lying around liks candy and instinctively want to leave them for Claire (played Leon first). Does this mechanic exist or should I just be my usual pack mule self?

scenario system remained in classics, CAPCOM was too lazy to inplement it here.

I would refer to it as a design choice, but thanks for the info all the same.

Nope, they didn't bother to put this on the Remake nor making the scenarios connect in a cohesive form

Yeah, they didn't bring the Zapping System over to this remake. What happens is that in the 2nd run, some of the puzzles are already solved and items are left in other places. So it's kinda like an Arrange Mode, not like the original.

Scenario B in Remake is just you skipping the intro part and fighting one additional boss at the end. Everything else is the same as Scenario A.

Scenarios are 100% independent. None of what you do has any effect on the opposite character's 2nd scenario.

So I just got done with Leon A/Claire B. Ya'll are just negative as hell. They took the initiative away from the player in terms of leaving items for your 'B' character, but the set story and scenario acknowledges the divergent paths and does a full switch-a-roo for which one starts inside RPD and which one starts outside, when lickers and Mr. X appear and the whole Sherry scene as well. I wish I had more control over what happened in 'B', but damn, ya'll is just negative!

Play Leon B and Claire A. They are exactly the same. The only difference is that you skip the Marvin part, and some puzzle changes. That's it.
