Are you kidding me? It's a wireless gamepad issue? This is going to make me very unhappy, as I couch game only. Let me test this out and get back to this thread.

Just adding to the above.

Sometimes I get audio problems because my computer system decides to switch the audio to my monitor or if I plug in a PS4 controller to my PC via blue tooth, the computer will switch the audio to my PS4 controller. The PS4 controller has a built in speaker.

After which I have to force the audio back to my desktop speakers. Then everything works.
Okay, well using a wired gamepad did not work. This PS4 issue has piqued my interest though, as I regularly switch back and forth between PS4 and PC. How can I make sure I'm using audio from the desktop and not the monitor/PS4? I would very much appreciate specifics, because I suck ass at audio.

make sure your audio is set to the device you want to hear sound from and try setting your audio device to16/24bit 48000hz or lower 44100hz. you can find out what device is using your audio by right clicking the sound icon in the task bar in the bottem right and clicking Open sound settings and choosing the output. to change the bit and hz frequency click device propertis in the sound menu then additional device properties in the top right. then advanced tab. you can also try disabling spatial sound and see if that helps.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ QUIT, NOTHING I DO IS EVEN REMOTELY FIXING THIS ISSUE. I am using two front speakers connected directly to the computer using a jack, I've tried digital, ouptut directly to TV, headphone output, updating my drivers, switching back and forth between DX 11 and DX 12, turning down graphical options for better performance, making sure the PS4 is turned off when I play, NOTHING ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WORKS

have you tried to update audio drivers via device mananger or programs website? also check if you have multiple audio devices as i do in my pc and had to disable a few to avoid program conflicts, goodluck!

No issues here, might be because you are using a low end GPU.
"works on my machine, get a better rig, tee hee!"
I know it's not the GPU, troll.

I do not get it in other games. I have also downloaded the latest Game ready driver off of NVIDIA.

Windows media Codecs, may be the issue, using an older version.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/mediafeaturepack
got an error message trying to install the latest driver from that link:
"Update is not applicable to your computer"
