Mods wont work :(

I subbed to nexus mods because steam doesn't have a workshop and I'm (not sorry) kinda thirsty for these mods. I don't want anything that gives me an advantage over the game but I really want the thong mods! :D

Long story short I installed the mods manager, transferred the files correctly and launched the game both through Steam and the mod manager and neither will show the mod changes.

Any advice on what I've done wrong?

DId you actually activate the mods in the manager? (you see a check mark next to them.) Also, pay attention to the messages in the bottom left when you activate a mod. It will tell you if there are any errors.

I'm having trouble with the mods also... "the mods" coming from NEXUS (not blaming them or authors). YES, I've activated the mods! I have modded games for years, it's always pot-luck to me, how well it goes. I have RE 2 & 3 (Remakes). Note: I use "Fluffy Manager" and there are subtle differences, and I have the mods pretty much working, as far as she is in her white bikini. I wanted the black, ah, em... but RE 2 won't work. But hey! RE 2 offers the use of Mod Manager from NEXUS, this being what I use successfully with Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE. So I tried MM, which did not work either. Then Because it didn't work I had to manually remove all "managed by VORTEX" entries which i know, lol as that probably doesn't remove it from startup files. I'm just saying RE 3 modded 80% and RE 2 not at all. No apparent reason.

I'm having mod issues too, I have classic inventory mod that was unchecked from fluffy manager and it shows in the game. Yesterday i download a new mod for Leon called Leon classic 1998 that someone created yesterday that removes the radio from his classic shoulder and adds his brown hair. That mod won't uninstall either from the game it shows Leon's brown hair and not his blonde hair and i'm a little mad. I also have Leon shirtless pack download too and his Casual shirtless neck was having an issue and i don't know what happen, but Leon's neck from his causal shirtless is back to normal. I don't really pay attention to the messages on the bottom left corner cause i know the mods i have downloaded will work, but i will look at the bottom left corner and check if Leon classic 1998 mod is working.

Do i need to download the game for these mods to work? I'm downloading the game right now.
