How to disable mouse cursor while playing with KB/M

I have been trying to play with KB/M but my computer's native mouse stays on screen the whole time which makes it difficult and disorienting to play. I have tried to change my in-game settings, removed and plugged in my controller, and checked my computers mouse settings but no matter what I do I cannot get rid of the mouse. Does anyone have any advice?

It's supposed to automatically be disabled when you are playing and not in a menu. I don't know what would cause it to stay on screen. (sounds more like a problem with Windows than the game) But try changing the display mode between Fullscreen, Borderless, and Windowed and see if that has any effect.

Thanks for the reply. Turns out it was the framework required for the first person mode. That menu was keeping the mouse on.
