It's definitely not Malware, you can ignore that. This guy has put his real name out there and is collecting donations for his project. Ain't no hacker dumb enough to do anything without anonymity lol.
Some virus programs are over-sensitive. The program is definitely not a virus or malware.
Rando is fun. There are no crashes, if you do not mess with the cutscenes. All cutscenes have to be played in the intended place, if you shorten the game so that a cutscene is skipped, it will crash when you get back to that place. Otherwise no crashes. I tried it on hardcore today, it works there too. However, some of the items are still messy im HC , so that you can end up beeing soft-locked. But benn powell also said it works right now only for Leon A standard correctly. If I play Hardcore I do it out of curiosity. To see how far I can get with randomizer.
Triggering some cutscenes after a certain point in the game results in this load screen, and for myself it was triggering the clocktower bell ringing cutscene for the second electrical part. If it tries to prompt that cutscene after you've already solved the electrical puzzle in the jail it'll lock. Issue for me was that the small gear was in the sewers.
The cheat sheet you get when you make your randomized seed tells me the clocktower electrical part was replaced by the Valve handle, so as a result I couldn't get to the Stars Office or Linen Room either. That being said, nothing of actual necessity was in there, so I would have been okay to continue.
Hillariously enough, some triggers are all sorts of silly. Picking up the diamond key (normally in the morgue) activates the two zombies in the morgue as well as the two zombies in the shooting range. For myself, the Diamond key was in the G1 arena, so the zombie that is normally on the morgue shelf with the key was active in the wall.
Actually no. I'm waiting for a more stable version that doesn't softlock every time I fart.
