Best way to play RE3 today?

Felt like replaying it due to all the hype, but I don't know what's the best way to do it today.

I found there is a PSOne classic version for PS3 on the PSN but it's not available in my region.
Question is, should I find the PC version or emulate? I'd like to play with a controller

Once I finish RE 2 classic and re 0 HD i will start up RE 3 . Trying to play through most of the series

just play this one, they essentially turned this one into Re3 with Re2 characters and story.

Not really other than the ammo powders. Unless your talking about X following you through rooms like Nemesis.

RE3 is and always has been trash. Skip it. It was supposed to just be a side-story with Code Veronica being the real RE3, but Sony threw a tantrum over the "main series" not being on their outdated PS1, so Capcom reversed the titles.
