It is frustrating that Leon cannot dodge anyhow

I love the game, definitely the best remake ever made, but there is one thing which really annoys me and that is that it is literally impossible to not get damage when enemy tries to attack you, especially during boss fights.

I play HARDCORE Leon A and fighting William Birkin after I received G-Virus in the Umbrella secret labs. It is a nightmare, because when Birkin wants to hit you with his enormous claws, you either stand far far away from him where you at least a bit safe, or you are close by him and you get damage no matter what. There is no green plants and after 2 hits you are dead.

It is really frustrating because he is too big, Leon way too slow. I feel totally hopeless standing in front of him because i know once he jumps, i will die.

He wasn't able to dodge in the original as well. However, it is not really main annoyance. What I miss is lose of dominoes.

I find the the camera and close by walls more of an issue in that fight. All to easy to try and dodge and get stuck on a wall or whatever.

You should have at least one RGB mix since the game provides you with one before the fight and there's a spray in the arena. I bring the handgun, magnum and flamethrower into the fight. Flamethrower is great for when his chest opens up. Keep your distance and magnum his front eyes then wait for him to grab a canister to get the one on his back. I always take a few hits myself, a bit of trial and error and you'll eventually get him :)

G3 fight is easier if you stick closer to Birkin. In the first "round" you should run to his right hand (the one he raises for attack) and dive under it. In the second "round" you should run to his left hand and dive under it. The third round... Just feed him as fast as possible as much bullets as you can.

Also some may not have been born then and haven't had the chance to play the game until now.

Indeed it was a real tragedy and to this day it still sleeps on the bottom of the ocean with who knows what living inside it.

is there a spray in the arena? i have the HUD off so thanks for the hint! :)
