Is it worth shooting Stage 5 Birkin before the eye comes out?

Otherwise I seriously need some damage numbers and health bars, because don't tell me that 5 rounds of quickdraw, 1 round of acid and 3 mags of smg is not enough. I'm getting tired of S+ runs Fd up like this.

Dunno. Does the eye appear if you wait long enough? Because the eye clearly takes like 90% of the damage, shooting the "meat" with red blood splatters doesn't seem to do much at all. If you have to shoot the meat to make the eye appear, then do that I guess, otherwise just wait and unload on the eye.

I usually unload on it from the minute I can, it's never failed for me, but it might be more efficient or handy to wait for the eye if you have low ammo, I guess.

Maybe if you use explosive devices it doesnt matter.
But to be safe i still use them when the eye is open.

Im sure all damage counts but is mitigated when not hitting the eye.

Bawkbasoup ran the inf. rocket launcher and chaingun into the body of it and it did nothing, wait for the eye (and knife it twice, lol, capcom is such a troll, best way to kill it is to knife the eye)

Love it. :) Though in general they have to do something about the OP knife on 120fps and above.

They won't, it existed in RE7 too, and the knife fight eye thing is intended we thing, he dies in like 2 slashes regardless of FPS.

I BARELY downed em with 10 Acid rounds, 3 SMG mags, and 3 SL50 mag rounds.

I used all my gatling ammo on the previous fight.

wait. i only know 4 birkin. wdym 5
if u mean the final boss for claire. use gatling gun. 300 rounds is all needed to kill him if you have 100% accuracy to his EYES. i did this on HC few times with only gatling gun no other gun.

Stage 5 appears in Leon B and Claire B, but it's whatever now I done it, saved up some grenades.

I only had a knife, and a pistol, i knifed it in the eye once it got closer and killed it for hardmode S

I'm a bit curious too that does he even take damage before the giant eye pops, since Spark Gun for example doesn't even do anything and just goes right through him until the eye phase.
