Sadly you're in the same boat as me there is no other option not yet at least.
However, my headphones have a volume wheel and there i can adjust it.

Seems to just be a RE Engine thing. How odd.
Yeah because RE Engine is now being used for many Capcom games like DmC 5 and Monster Hunter Rise. The upcoming Dragon's Dogma 2 and Street Fighter 6 will also use RE Engine, so it wouldn't surprise me if the volume bug is a thing in those too.
